Accessibility Statement

The BrightBrick Project believes every child deserves joy — and every visitor deserves a website they can use. We are committed to making this site accessible to people of all abilities, and we aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What we've done

• Every page has a "Skip to main content" link and is fully navigable by keyboard, with visible focus indicators.
• All text and background color combinations meet or exceed WCAG AA contrast requirements.
• All meaningful images have descriptive alternative text; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
• Pages use semantic HTML landmarks and a logical heading structure for assistive technology.
• Animations are automatically disabled for visitors who enable "reduce motion" in their device settings.
• The site works at 200% zoom and on screens of all sizes without loss of content.

Third-party services

Donations are processed on PayPal's website, and volunteer sign-ups use Google Forms. We chose these providers in part for their accessibility support, but we do not control their pages. If you have difficulty using either, contact us and we will help you donate or sign up another way.

Known limitations

We review the site regularly, but some content (such as linked social media or news articles) is outside our control. If you find something on our own pages that doesn't work for you, we want to know.
