Get Involved

Every brick counts

There are three ways to help us bring joy to children in foster care: give funds, give bricks, or give a few minutes of your time.

Give funds

Your donation buys new LEGO® sets, packaging, and delivery supplies. Even a small gift builds something big.

$10 $25 $50 Any amount
Donate via PayPal

Donations are processed securely on PayPal's site. We never see or store your card details.

The BrightBrick Project is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law, and no goods or services are provided in exchange for your gift. Donations of $250 or more receive a written acknowledgment for your tax records.

Give LEGO® sets

We happily accept new and gently used sets. Every donated set is cleaned and checked before it's gifted.

  • Buy new sets from our Amazon wish list — shipped straight to us
  • New or gently used, complete sets
  • Drop-off through our local collection partners

Prefer to shop? Our Amazon wish list will let you send new sets directly. Or reach out on Instagram or Facebook and we'll connect you with the nearest drop-off spot.

Write a letter

Every set we deliver includes a handwritten letter of encouragement. Yours could be the words a child rereads on a hard day.

  • Kind, uplifting, and kid-friendly
  • No experience needed โ€” just heart
  • Great for classrooms, teams, and clubs
Sign up to write letters

Letter-writing is open to ages 13 and up; volunteers under 18 need a parent or guardian's permission. To protect the children we serve, every letter is reviewed by our team before delivery, and letters use first names only โ€” no contact information.

Youth leadership ยท Applications open

Join the BrightBrick Teen Impact Board

Are you a teen who wants to help build something bigger than yourself? Our Teen Impact Board is a chance for young leaders to shape the future of The BrightBrick Project โ€” planning drives, spreading the word, and bringing joy to kids in foster care.

Applications close September 1.

Your gift in action

After payment-processing fees, every dollar and every donated set goes toward one thing: bright moments for kids in foster care. We're 100% volunteer-run, so your generosity turns directly into cleaned and checked LEGO® sets, handwritten letters, and deliveries across our community.

Want your school, team, or workplace to run a brick drive or letter-writing event? We'd love that โ€” send us a message and we'll help you set it up.
